When the blogging initially got to Sri Lanka, No body much cared for it. But a group of us initiated blogging in "Sinhala" Local Language, which made the difference. It made more outreach to people who are concerned. Now there is a growing local blog culture. Local Language Makes the Difference.
Similarly ICT4D was explained in as many as presentations. However the concepts restricted to concepts and Academic Needs. It just circled around Colombo, Until we used local language to explain what it means. Now rural people have begun to feel the value of Telecenters. Now they walk into Telecenters that they thought distant. Local Language Makes the Difference.
e Learning had been here for years, but only few benefited. But when it turned into Local language people were amused, students thoughts it's the future. Shilpa Sayura went to win 3 World Awards i4D , GKP and Stockholm Challenge 2008 for Local Language e Learning for Rural Communities. Local Language Makes the Difference.
Right now we are a minority as we speak and write in English. We will become a majority if we go local and blog in local languages of the world.
Get Local it's the only way to involve rural communities, who actually get served from Telecenters. Local Language Makes the Difference.

නැණසළ නියම සමාජ ව්‍යාපාරයක් වී සාර්ථක වීමට එහි නියැලි සියල්ලන්ම ප්‍රජා සංවර්ධනය පෙරමුණු කරගත් අදහස් අනුච ක්‍රියා කළ යුතුයි. සාර්ථක ලෙස ක්‍රියාත්මක සමහර නැණසළ වලින් සමහරක් ලක්‍ෂණ ගිලීහී ගොසින්, ඒවා ICT ව්‍යාපාර වූ අවස්ථා තියෙනවා. ඉල්ලුම පරිදි සැපයුමට වඩා අවශ්‍යතාවයන් හඳුනාගන ඒ අනුව තම සේවා සැලසුම නැණසළක අදහසයි.

මේ සංකල්ප සියල්ල, එකක් , හෝ මුසුවක් නැණසළේ ආකෘතිය විය හැකියි. එය තීරණය වන්නේ නැණසළ ප්‍රජා පරිසරය, සම්පත් ප්‍රමාණය, නැණසළ නායකත්වය සහ දක්‍ෂතාවන්ය. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන වැඩ පිළිවෙළවල් දූරදර්ශී වීම, සැලසුම් සහගත වීම හා ඉලක්ක සහිත වීම වැදගත්.
සෑම විටම ප්‍රමාණය වැඩි වීමට වඩා සේවා තත්වයෙන් උසස්වීම ඒ මෙන්ම ප්‍රජාවගේ සහය සහ ප්‍රසාදයද ලබාගැනීමද වැදගත්. නැණසළක ප්‍රජා සහභාගීත්වය වැඩිවන විට එහි අගයද කළ හැකි සේවාවද වැඩිවේ. ප්‍රජාවගේ බුද්ධිමතුන් නැණසළ කටයුතු වලට යොදවා ගැනීම ඉතා පහසු කටයුත්තකි.
